Frank H. King Jr., M.D. FAAP

Dr. King graduated from Bucknell University, received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in pediatrics in Philadelphia at St. Christophers Hospital for Children.  Board certified in Pediatrics, and a long standing Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he has practiced pediatrics for 35 years in the same location. He is actively involved with childbirth education for expectant parents/families and clinical mentoring of medical students. He is married and the father of two grown married children.

Sima Karpel-Shipon, D.O. FAAP

Dr. Karpel-Shipon graduated from Cornell University, received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency in pediatrics in Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson/A.I. duPont.  Board certified in Pediatrics, and a Fellow of the  American Academy of Pediatrics, she has practiced pediatrics for 20 years in the Delaware Valley.  Fluent in Spanish, she is married and the mother of two children.

Gilda A. Johnson, CRNP

Ms. Johnson attained her MSN degree from University of Pennsylvania (as well as her pediatric nurse practitioner certification), her BSN from Georgetown University, and has been employed as a CRNP at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.  Board certified and well experienced, she has practiced pediatrics and adolescent medicine for over 25 years.  She is married and resides in Philadelphia.
